Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian stable Packages Reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=413260 Step to reporduce : * K-Menu > Lock session * (session is locked) * Move mouse or press button to request session unlocking * Enter password / press enter Actual result : * Message : "Unable to unlock session because the authentication handler failed. You should kill kdesktop (process 1111)" (this is a free translation, for me it is in french) Expeted Result : * The session should unlock
Maybe you then should fix the handler to work properly? This happens e.g. when kcheckpass doesn't have the right priviledges.
Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
