Description Wolf 2007-05-01 06:07:57 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3)
OS: Linux

When sending messages from Kopete 0.12.3 (confirmed by a second kopete user as well) over the Jabber/XMPP protocol to other kopete users, it appears as such to them, sans begin/end:

(begin)
Hi, how goes it?
(end)

To non-kopete users, it appears with a double newline before and after the message as such:

(begin)

Hi, how goes it?

(end)

While this isn't a terrible problem like kopete exploding in a fiery ball visible from space or exploding X11, it is a bit obnoxious. Low-Priority, but I didn't see it in the bug/fix list.

Dupe of 121627?
Comment 2 Wolf 2007-05-01 22:13:28 UTC
It is indeed a duplicate of that issue. My apologies for cluttering up the buglist (didn't see/find previous). -_-

Setting to resolved as I wasn't logged in when I posted previous message, so resolved radio button was unavailable.
