Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When I highlight 30 photos and Image>Metadata>Edit IPTC I have to individually edit details and use the "Forward" key to edit the next one. An "Apply changes to this entry to all entries" key would be super. Same idea with EXIF editing. Oh and one more thing, when using the "Forward" button, it would be nice to have a thumbnail of the photo being edited persistently displayed in the "IPTC edit Metadata" menus. It is hard to keep track which photo is which when they are named in DSC000 etc. format and you have 4000 of them. Thanks, and keep up the amazing work. digikam has already become my primary photo manager and its come a long way.
I agree with you. In fact, when I tested Digikam pre 0.9.1 SVN versions, I saw that feature altough it was removed. By the way I think Metadata edit is a KIPI Plugin and the real bug report should be the 144858 one. In any case, as I said, I agree with you: this feature is a must.
Sorry, I wanted to say pre 0.9.0 SVN versions (obviously with KIPI Plugins pre 0.1.3 SVN version)
even better: my wishlist-item would be to do in-line editing of metadata (on the right hand panel) without having to go to the extra dialog. this should work for one or several images at a time.
Same for me, I would really like to see such feature !
