Description Olivier DELEMAR 2007-04-26 23:03:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I use a bunch of iCal calendars on a WebDAV server on Kontact. Those calendars are sometimes edited on Sunbird or Mozilla Calendar too, but I'm not sure this has something to do with this bug. It's now a few weeks that Kontact crashes on startup, leaving a "Copy" window opened, showing a 100% completed copy from file:///var/tmp/kdecache-olivier/kcal/kresources/eiGxhD399J to http://olivier@samu/calendars/olivier.ics, and a "Gestionnaire de panne de KDE" ("KDE's crash manager?") window telling me that Kontact terminated with a signal 11.
It allways happen on the same kdecache file.
A workaround is to "rm /var/tmp/kdecache-olivier/kcal/kresources/eiGxhD399J" repeatidly during Kontact startup, not that convenient.
KOrganizer, on the other hand works like a charm. No crash, no problem.
