Description Olivier Vitrat 2007-04-25 20:59:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

This has been reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=417759

I use my keyboard settings for the Portuguese layout, but everytime I
enter in the "slowkeys mode" (pressing for a long time in shift, for
instance), the keyboard layout automaticly changes to US keyboard,
without anything telling me so. Worse, when I go to kcontrol to change
back, it still appears there that I'm using the Portuguese keyboard, so
I just change something and put that something back to have the "Apply"
button clickable and, clicking on it, everything comes back to normal.

I hope you did understand the issue, please feel free to ask further
info.

Hi, could you try to test it using KDE 3.5.10 or, better, with the new KDE4 ?

Many thanks!

@Olivier: can you try with a more recent KDE version ?

Closing due to lack of feedback (and I cannot reproduce it).
Please reopen if you can reproduce using a more recent KDE version.
