Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux To reproduce this you have to have a few pictures on the camera in order to trigger the scrollbar in the d/l dialogue. When opening a camera via digikam the first picture in the list is selected automatically. If one scrolls down to the last pictures on the camera and tries to select them with the rubber-band, i.e. dragging the mouse in order to select all of the pictures within the drawn frame, the list jumps to top, making it impossible to select those pictures. There are two problems: First, it is not possible to not have any picture selected. If one clicks on the one selected picture with CTRL pressed, i.e. de-select if selected, it still stays selected. Second, if the user uses the rubber-band to select pictures and does not press CTRL while doing so, all pictures that were selected must be de-selected and the selection shoudl only include those pictures within the drawn frame. And of course the list must not jump to top or anywhere else while doing so, it should only scroll up/down if the mouse-cursor hits the top/bottom of the list while using the rubber-band.
Same here (SuSE 10.2 / KDE 3.5.5; Kubuntu 7.04 / KDE 3.5.6 / DigiKam 0.9.2). It is impossible to select pictures from the bottom of the selection dialog, it always jumps back to the first, already preselected picture. I can only download pictures by starting at the first pictures, downloading and deleting them, until the last pictures are accessible without scrolling within the download dialog. I know this wasn´t the case in the older versions. Think this behaviour started with 0.9.x series, but I´m not really sure about the version number. Sebastian
If i remember, 0.9.2 beta or RC version include this bug. 0.9.2-final release is fixed. In all case, current implementation from svn KDE3 branch work fine. Gilles Caulier
This problem have been fixed. It's not reproductible with KDE3 (next 0.9.3) and KDE4 (next 0.10.0) implementation. I close this file. Gilles Caulier
