Description Torquil Macdonald Sørensen 2007-04-16 21:59:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I would like to have the kmix window always open in the bottom right corner of the screen, above the taskbar. However, in the "Specific window settings..." under the "Advanced" menu in the window title context menu, there is only a choice of "Top-Left corner", on the "Geometry" tab, on the "Placement" option. In addition there is a "Position" option, specifying exact pixel values, but I alternate between two monitors with different resolutions, so this option would nok work for me.

First of all, it would be nice to be able to choose any corner of the screen, not just the top-left one. Secondly, it would also be nice if there was an option so that the window does not cover the taskbar in the chosen corner of the screen. I would need this last option, since I have the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Best regards,
Torquil M. Sørensen
