Description kaderno 2007-04-16 12:04:04 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc 4.0.4
OS: Linux

This is the same bug as: Bug 126996, but it's not fixed. I wrote an email to Olivier Goffart and he told me it could be a posible bug in libmimic. I wrote a mail to libmic's developer and this was his answer:

This looks like an issue with either Kopete and/or aMSN.. I know aMSN
had issues in the past because they replaced libmimic's glib
dependency with a header-file that had the macros that libmimic is
using (at the moment libmimic only uses the typedefs and the endian
conversion macros). I don't know about Kopete, but knowing that
libmimic works fine with aMSN that rules out the possibility of it
being a bug in libmimic.

The problem is only in powerpc architecture, in my desktop machine webcam works fine, but it's i386.
