Description Дилян Палаузов 2007-04-11 21:49:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Other

http://kmail.kde.org/manual/faq.html#id2793416 sais, KMail does not support SMTP Authentication,

http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/features.php -> General features reports support for SMTP Authentication

and http://kontact.kde.org/kmail/security.php sais:
Issues that are more or less KMail specific
Authentication: SMTP Auth, PLAIN, LOGIN, CRAM-MD5, DIGEST-MD5, APOP

Do the two websites have inconsistent opinion on smtp authentication support in kmail .

Think this is not valid anymore. kmail.kde.org is moved and its current feature description is corrected
