Description Maciej Pilichowski 2007-03-31 17:23:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Try
gparted.org

Konqueror will show an error ("Connection to host gparted.org is broken.") but on the same time it will load the page.

I've never seen that error before, do you still experience it in recent versions?
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-13 19:25:22 UTC
No, I'll close it, if it re-occur I reopen it.
Comment 3 Rui G. 2008-06-13 19:36:44 UTC
Sorry, it never happened to me until a moment ago, try this one:
http://www.sutosoft.com/room/archives/000323.html

It will complain about amazon not loading, and it does anyway. I found it in bug 143217 but it's not the same problem as yours. Sometimes the bug isn't in the popup, but is replaced as error message on the amazon "widget"(?) .

Also, same thing happens in trunk svn rev. 819998 .
Comment 4 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-13 19:53:13 UTC
Rui, thank you very much!

Btw. this report is a duplicate then, the description in the other report is rather narrowed to this only case (address), but anyway, I posted later.
Comment 5 Rui G. 2008-06-13 20:00:07 UTC
I'll close it as duplicate then, there are more testcases in the other bug report as well, maybe the problem can be found more easily in that one. Thanks for the quick feedback as always.
