Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu13) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-13-386 in the bottom bar, the informations about download speed and upload speed appear switched. I mean, the first field (in italian version, but i think it's something related to the program and not to the translation) says "upload speed" but shows the value of download speed and viceversa. The same about sent and received data.
We show the download speed in the first field. I have checked out the translation and it seems to be OK, this is the translation : "<center><b>KTorrent</b></center><table cellpadding='2' cellspacing='2' " "align='center'>" "<tr>" "<td><b>Velocità:</b></td>" "<td></td></tr>" "<tr>" "<td>Scaricamento: <font color='#1c9a1c'>%1</font></td>" "<td>Invio: <font color='#990000'>%2</font></td></tr>" "<tr>" "<td><b>Trasferimenti:</b></td>" "<td></td></tr>" "<tr>" "<td>Scaricati: <font color='#1c9a1c'>%3</font></td>" "<td>Inviati: <font color='#990000'>%4</font></td></tr></table>" I have looked up Scaricamento, and it seems to mean unloading or discharging, which in the context of the internet could be interpreted as downloading.
maybe i wasn't able to explain it right.. you talk about the pop-up window that comes out when you go on the "double-arrow" icon on the tray bar... that is ok, but i was talking about the bottom bar of the program window... in italian it's called "barra di stato", i think in english it should be "status bar" there you will find what i was talking about... sorry for misexplaining... --- Giuseppe 31 Mar 2007 17:49:35 -0000, Joris Guisson <joris.guisson@gmail.com>: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
Download stuff should come first in the statusbar, here is the relevant part of the translation (from the 2.1.3 release): #: apps/ktorrent/ktorrent.cpp:723 msgid "Speed down: %1 / up: %2" msgstr "Velocità scaricamento: %1 / invio: %2" #: apps/ktorrent/ktorrent.cpp:729 msgid "Transferred down: %1 / up: %2" msgstr "Dati scaricati: %1 / inviati: %2" Seems to be OK
It seems this was inverted in the 2.1 translation, so it is already fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 143743 ***
That is right for russian translation too. Lines "Transferred up" and "transferred down" in status bar are mixed.
