Almost all kde applications seem to want to crash on shutdown which wouln't be so bad if kdm (or something else) didn't hang when shutting down the system, necessitating a "killall kdm" to allow a clean shutdown.

I've included a backtrace from a konsole which got a SIGSEGV when I tried to shut it down.

I've been unable to reproduce the problem with a newly started konsole, but it almost always happens with one that has been around for a while, so I don't know exactly what triggers the crash.

I'll be happy to try to debug the issue if there is anything I can do to provide more information.
