Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc 4.1.1 
OS:                Linux

I have a dual-head setup running _without_ xinerama. If I open an app (say kmail) on the primary monitor and I receive new mail, the taskbar entry flashes as expected.

If I open it in the secondary display, the taskbar entry doesn't flash when the event occurs. The behaviour is consistent across multiple applications, most noticably kontact & kopete.

My setup has changed significantly, but I am not currently seeing this issue in kde 4.2 or 3.5.10.
