Version:           0.12.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2)

It would be nice if Kopete's contact list would be more customizable.

On Windows I use Miranda (http://www.miranda-im.org/) which has separated contact list into a separate plugin and now there are different kinds of contact list displays available.

For example:

I especially like the customization capabilities of clist_modern. Ideally Kopete should support the same concept and have plugins for "novice" and "advanced" contact list users.

Among the features, that I miss the most are:
- make contacts much smaller (the picture is not bigger than 16x16 or 32x32)
- client information

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
