Description Tim Lyons 2007-03-26 09:42:16 UTC
Version: ktorrent-2.1.2-2.fc6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

ktorrent had been running along just fine all day then suddenly crashed. I have tried restarting the application (and yes, even the workstation) with no change. The following backtract is from the last crash a few minutes ago:

(no debugging symbols found)
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".

Strace & ktorrent debug output of startup crash

Attaching strace and debug output files to hopefully help isolate where the
application is failing. Both files were created with:

"strace -q -o `date +%Y%m%d_%H%M%S`_ktorrent_strace.log -tt -f -F
/usr/bin/ktorrent -debug > `date +%Y%m%d_%H%M%S`_ktorrent_debug.log"

I think we already fixed this bug in the latest SVN version, maybe you can try one of the latest svn snapshots.

This one is fixed in 2.1.3
