Description urwald 2007-03-25 10:37:59 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.5.6 "release 41.4" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.1-default

The function "Image" -> "auto rotate/flip using exif tags" rotates 90 degrees to much:
- When the image hasn't to be rotated, it is rotated 90 degrees.
- When the image has to be rotated 90 degrees, it is rotated 180 degrees.

This is only a problem when I copy the images from the camera using konqueror and add them manually to digikam and want to rotate them then. When I copy the images from the camera using digikam directly, the are automaticly rotated fine.

After re-syncronizing the metadata, the problem was solved. Furthermore, I've made tests with importing folders which contain photos downloaded by konqueror, with or without using the function "syscronize meta-data", and also downloading using digikam directly. Everything works now, so I find no way to reproduce this bug. (At least not in 0.9.1, to which I've updated now).

So marking the bug as RESOLVED.
