Description Moritz Augustin 2007-03-24 19:07:50 UTC
Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I connected to splatterworld.de.quakenet.org and after I authed to service Q I tried to let the service L invite me to a channel. It seemed to work, a popup appeared - "L invited you" - 2 buttons: join and ignore. But after clicking "join" nothing happened. Clicking "ignore" didn't make me join either - but that's ok ;-)
I had to join the channel manually. Not a huge problem, but I think it's not your intention of the invite popup feature.

Hmm I'm unable to reproduce it here... could you enable raw log (/raw) before asking the service to invite you so I can see what's going on?
Comment 2 Moritz Augustin 2007-04-23 00:55:52 UTC
[00:52] << PRIVMSG l :invite #aht
[00:52] >> :L!TheLBot@lightweight.quakenet.org INVITE Xirtam #aht 1078281742
[00:52] >> :L!TheLBot@lightweight.quakenet.org NOTICE Xirtam :Done.

That's all. I chose to join the channel but Konversation didn't join.
Network is as you can see Quakenet - maybe it's a network-depending error? But I cannot believe it.
Comment 3 Peter Simonsson 2007-04-30 23:16:34 UTC
Hmm seems to be something nonstandard going on... could you send me the raw output from a client that works as expected?
Comment 4 Moritz Augustin 2007-04-30 23:36:50 UTC
Quakenet doesn't work, irc.debian.org works

With current SVN, invites seem to work fine on QuakeNet. However, the L bot no longer seems to exist, so I can't exactly reproduce the original report. Moritz, do you know if this is still an issue for you with SVN?
