Description Stefan Haun 2007-03-22 00:50:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
OS: Linux

I am using kmail with IMAP on several machines and more and more simultaneoiusly. Having my home PC and my notebook on the same desktop (the wooden one), I stuble over a problem with the IMAP folder state: KMail only updates the folder when I change to another one, i.e. if I delete a message on my home PC, it is still visible (and unread) on my notebook until I change to another folder. Even if I minimize kmail (which I have embedded into kontact), the folder stays open and is not updated.

For this problem to be solved without performance loss, the folder changes should be committed after a short timeout, so the user does not have to switch it manually to let changes have an effect.
