But it still doesn't explain how to reproduce the crash :-). How can I (or someone else) try to reproduce this crash?
Comment 3 Zenon Delee 2007-03-17 20:42:36 UTC
I have the groupwise client installed.

Can you give *step-by-step* instructions how to reproduce this crash?
Comment 5 Zenon Delee 2007-03-22 11:52:22 UTC
Well, sorry to answer so late.

1. I have install de Groupwise Client (I used this howto
http://doc.gwos.org/index.php/Groupwise) Groupwise works fine.
2. When I launch Kmail, everything seem to works ok. Then I try to
access my Inbox (Imap) for example --> authentication --> Crash

I hope this could help you

If you are using the java xplat GW client, do you really want to use kmail as well for groupwise? Running both clients on the same GW account makes no sense, as they both use a lot of ram and you can send your mail using the xplat client. If you don't actually want to use GW with KDE, run "kcmshell kresources" and delete the GW addressbook you added in the Contacts section.

Otherwise, can you please reproduce the crash with your distro's debug info packages for kdepim3 installed and paste the new backtrace including line numbers here?
Comment 7 Zenon Delee 2007-03-31 19:24:41 UTC
Sorry, it's not the same account. I use te GW client and a specifc
account for business purpose. I never lauch GW and Kmail
at the same time. Kmail crash when you access any account (imap, pop)
and GW is not launch.

On the other hand GW doesn't crash.

ps: I have an HP nc6120 with 1 go RAM.

Thank you for your interest

Is this still an issue for you in recent kmail?
Comment 9 Björn Ruberg 2010-04-06 00:35:33 UTC
No response. Closing old KDE 3 crash
