Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages This has been reported in Debian BTS at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=325972 I get a warning on console when starting kmenuedit for the new users on my system : kmenuedit: WARNING: Could not read /home/xavier/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu This seems to only be due to the file not existing, since there is no such config for kmenuedit yet. For example, copying a menu item and saving would create that file and the warning would stop appearing. Since running kmenuedit once, and even performing some actions won't necessarily write that file, I think the warning is more worrying than useful.
No longer happens in KDE 4.4pre (svn)
