Description Yuriy Kozlov 2007-02-21 01:04:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If one renames a media:/ entry, and that name includes a "/", the "/" is replaced by "%2f" (for example, naming the entry for hda1 to "/ (Root)" results in "%2f (Root)"

This bug has been worked around in Kubuntu by patching KDE to use /media instead of media:/

If this isn't still a problem, it can be closed.

Andrew, this may not be a problem for Kubuntu, but it's still a bug in KDE.
Comment 3 Kevin Ottens 2009-02-28 11:04:57 UTC
kio media doesn't exist on KDE4.
