Description Uwe Klein 2007-02-20 20:45:13 UTC
Version: 2.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.1.3
OS: Linux

removing a Logitech Orbit Webcam plus microfone
results in 100% CPU utilisation and blocking of
any other operation on the usb bus.
top shows ~100% CPU usage on an
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ System
nVidia M2N-SLI Mobo with 2GB Ram

The first impression is that the system is
completely hung but on second try killing kmix
is sufficient to reclaim the system.

This may be related to Bug 114695: kmix CPU usage load
