Description Candid Dauth 2007-02-19 01:02:17 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc-4.1.1
OS: Linux

Open an IMAP folder and delete it before its content is loaded. KMail won't finish loading the content because the folder doesn't exist anymore. So you have to close KMail (you can't switch to another folder, the loading message won't go away). After restarting it, KMail tries to open the last active folder, which is the deleted one. Thus, KMail crashes at startup and I am not able to start it anymore. (It crashes everytime about one second after it shows up.) The only way to get it working again is to remove the Folder and the Id setting from ~/.kde/config/kmailrc manually. This should definitely not happen.

The bug is fully repoducable for me and occurs rather often because of my slow internet connection in combination with large IMAP folders.
