Description Gorka 2007-02-19 00:56:29 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic

Recurring events are removed the day they occur. For example, if I have 2 recurring events both on Monday and Wednesday, on Sunday all the events are shown in the calendar, on Monday only the Wednesday events, and on Wednesday no events are shown at all.

I think the problem is related to the start and finish dates of the event, which are intercambiated once the event has been saved.

I can confirm this bug with the same version as above on SuSE 10.2 OSS. I have scheduled an event on a Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I then want it to recur every week on Tuesday and Thursday, having an alarm set to 30 mins before. When I schedule the event everything is displayed correctly. But after a restart, all occurances in the past are lost (which might be OK), but also the next one. I.e. when it's Monday (like today), Tuesday's event is not shown, but Thursday's is.
As Gorka writes there seems something wrong with the beginning and end of the event. In my case, the start date is (after saving and restarting) set to the overnext (next+1) event and the end to the date of first(!) occurance which is totally wrong. The bug is reproducible and correcting the dates does not help.

Same for me: kubuntu 6.10: 3.5.5.

This is defenetly a GRAVE bug, because informations get lost. Hope someone will solve it.

I to can report a problem with kontact recurring tasks. I'm using kubuntu 7.04. I have a daily recurring task. When I'm good and do it every day all works fine. When i finish the task a new one will show for the next day. But when I'm a day or more late and i check the task it will just disappear. I believe this problem was introduced when i updated from kubuntu 6.10 to 7.04.

Can't reproduce this with current trunk.

Can you retest with kde4?
