Description Vincent Rabaud 2007-02-15 05:00:07 UTC
Version: 3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When Kompare is comparing two files and you now select File/Compare Files and input a new first file, the second file in the dialog box defaults to the folder of the newly input first file.

Wouldn't it make more sense to leave the entry as it is ? In case you want to compare to the same old second file or to a file belonging to its folder.

Thx for your work, it is a very neat and efficient application !

The behaviour has been corrected on KDE 4 version.
