Description Andrew Walker 2007-02-14 23:19:21 UTC
Version: HEAD (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
OS: Linux

PROBLEM:
When creating a plugin the user is first prompted for the choice of plugin to be created. They are then displayed a New Plugin dialog that allows them to change this selection. This makes the first choice unnecessary and everything would be better done in the New Plugin dialog

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Start Kst
Select Data... New Plugin...
Select Fit gaussian and hit OK

RESULTS:
The user can now change the plugin choice in the New Plugin dialog

EXPECTED RESULTS:
The first selection choice is not shown or the user cannot modify the plugin already selected from within the New Plugin dialog

This is only true for old style plugins... New style plugins are selected here.
