Description Cyrus007 2007-02-12 06:46:47 UTC
Version: 1.4.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When listening to a shoutcast stream then contextbrowser is contantly updated with stream info. When some of this info is non-ascii, it is not able to render them properly. Konqueror is able to render them fine and I know that lyrics browser can also show them fine. The problem might be the Context tab or the one specifically associated with Shoutcast streams. The stream can be accessed from http://87.98.216.140:80

Also, the OSD shows the same error where it renders the non-ascii characters as boxes.

This is fixed in Amarok 2.
Thank you for your report.
