Version: 1.6.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Slackware Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 OS: Linux When a lanch the application through alt-F2 combination, always bring a konsole for root user and I do not request this kind of konsole, I only type "konsole" and I wish to have a konsole for a normal user, but always appear a konsole for root and prompt me for the password.
From the session menu, select the session type you want. Then select Settings->Save as default. This should fix the problem
thanks but not work I do't know if is immportant but I call the application through alt-F2 key combination, and still showing me the request for the password of the root....perhaps this question could be useful..How can I get a konsole for a normal user, I don't why always get a root konsole.
Rename ~/.kde/share/config/konsolerc . Try again. Does the problem still occur?
Ready!!! Thank you Philip Rodrigues <phil@kde.org> a line in that configuration file says su.Desktop and I deleted and konsole re-created. Thank very much to all.
