Description Mikolaj Machowski 2007-02-07 23:08:40 UTC
Version: trunk (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

Get rid of any mention of core image plugin.

Informatio about that is completely useless for end-users and may only confuse them. "this is greyed out - maybe something isn't working? how to enable manipulation of this? how to completely disable that?" etc.

I guess it's about the setup, look here :
http://www.digikam.org/?q=node/159

ImagePlugin_Core is grayed and cannot be disabled.

Thanks Fabien.

Now, i understand. This report is not valid because since digiKam 0.9.2, the ImagePlugins config page have been removed...

Since digiKam 5.2.0, all image editor plugins have been removed and embed as well in image editor/showfoto implementation. There is no more run-time loading of plugin libraries.
