Version:           1.4.0_devel (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic

Start kst
create a curve.
rmb->filter->low pass filter... ok.

edit the filtered curve (eg, double click on it).
Edit the Y vector, which opens the filter plugin's edit dialog.
Put rubbish (eg, "Hi There") in the one of the scalar combo boxes (eg, low pass edge).
Apply...

Crash...

this has been discussed in 141054.

This appears mostly unrelated to bug 141054. It should be fixed (along with some related bugs) by commit 631375.
