Version:           3.2.3 (using KDE 3.4.3, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.14

When compiling KDevelop-3.4.0 I get this error:

gnutar: Badly placed Option: --exclude=.svn.
Usage:  gnutar cmd [options] file1 ... filen

Use     gnutar --help
and     gnutar --xhelp
to get a list of valid cmds and options.

Use     gnutar -H help
to get a list of valid archive header formats.

For a more complete user interface use the star type command interface.
See 'man star'. The gnutar command is more or less limited to the
GNU tar command line interface.

a) Don't report build problems in bugzilla, we have 2 mailinglists for these
b) KDE 3.4 is required for compilation of KDevelop3.4, why did you state 3.2.3 as KDE version?
c) State the exact version of gnutar and your used distribution

- I haven't known that KDevelop version relays to KDE version.

Gnutar is:
gnutar: star 1.5a60 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
tar (GNU tar) 1.15.1
