Version:           1.9.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1)

If KMail receieves a new message on an imap Account, it duplicates this message every time the account is (automatically) checked for new mails. This ends after a real new message arrives which is then the new mail to be aggrandised.

It occured 5 weeks ago after months of no problems with kmail (kmail was not upgraded - the bug appeared on the same version which worked for weeks). I upgraded these days to KDE 3.6, but the kmail upgrade didn't fix this bug.

Just fixed this in 3.5 and trunk, I believe.
