OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.10-default

I received an invitation generated from a Lotus Notes system. In the KMail inbox (cached IMAP account) I clicked 'accept'. Korganizer opened and displayed the meeting in the calendar. While it was open it removed the invitation mail from the inbox. This should to my understanding not happen -> I cant follow the content of the invitation by mail anymore.
Strange enough: After closing korganizer the event was deleted there as well.

Verified this in 3.5.6 "release 25.2", exactly same behaviour
I rate this bug as *CRITICAL* due to the loss of information!

Still the same bug in 3.5.7 (rel. 10.1)

I can confirm this bug with KDE 4.2.0 as well. In my case, kOrganizer even crashed before being able to save the invitation in the calender, so the invitation was lost completely.

Go to kmail->settings->misc->invitations and disable this behaviour there.
