Description Andreas Scherf 2007-01-28 15:12:25 UTC
Version: 3.5.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1~edgy1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic

After visiting www.stadtplandienst.de (The NEW Version) and playing arounf with the map.
KOnqueror freezes and changes the mouse icon to a circle with a cross. After that i have to switch to console an kill konqueror the let KDE be responsible again. KDE couldn't be used with the mouse after that event.

I managed to get a similar problem - the mouse cursor looks like it's trying to drag the document somewhere else - but I can't find reliable steps to reproduce, and I can just click on the titlebar 'X' to close konqueror, and everything is fine

Thats what i mean. But i still can't use the mouse cursor after that. I have to kill konqueror to continue work. The titlebar 'X' has like all other buttons - no effect.

Probably related to bug 140692 (which has a simple testcase)
Comment 4 Médéric Boquien 2008-05-04 21:28:37 UTC
The described bug cannot be reproduced with 3.5 or with trunk. It probably got fixed on the website side. The site still has issues but not the one described in the bug report.

4.00.83, I played around with it, no freeze, and I didn't notice any problems offhand, so I'm closing this.
