Description Howard DeLozier 2007-01-18 01:21:57 UTC
Version: 0.7.3 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-303-athlon

Kopete 0.7.3 KDE 3.1.4 -- At one point could log into MSN Messenger using my Hotmail.com username and password. For about six months or more, this is no longer possible. The error = "incorrect password" pops up. However, using same username and pwd, I can log in on a Windows Box.

Please advise.

You should upgrade. 0.7 is way too old in order to comply with the current MSN protocol (imagine, we're in the 0.12 series now).

Thanks Bram -- Have looked at the specs on the latest version and think
I may need to update the entire OS. I am still on SUSE 9.0 and too
early a version of the KDE Desktop to support the latest version of Kopete.
