Version: HEAD (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: I Don't Know OS: Linux PROBLEM: The icon for the "Advance 1 Screen" toolbar entry does not match the other three related icons. Presumably this is related to the selected scheme, but the icons should probably be installed with Kst so that they have a similar visual scheme to each other and the rest of Kst
The bug is in the selected system icon theme, not kst... some don't include the 'read to end' icon, in which case the crystal icon is used. This bug in the icon theme also effects amarok, etc which use the play/next icons. kst follows the KDE standard practice of always using system icons if they are available.
The problem is that for many themes the default icon is "player-fwd" whereas Kst is requesting "player_fwd". The fault may lie with the icon naming convention, as player-fwd is the only one that uses '-' instead of '_'.
all related icons on the distribution I use are called player_???.png. It sounds like a bug in whatever Icon theme you are using...
based on a quick web search, "player-fwd.png" appears to be only found in RedHat's BlueCurve icon theme. In all other icon themes, it appears to be called "player_fwd.png", which is what kst asks for. cbn On Tuesday 16 January 2007 7:23 pm, netterfield@astro.utoronto.ca wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
Yes, this is an annoyingly old problem with RedHat's BlueCurve. I reported it a while ago, yet the bug remains open. Perhaps someone else's comments there would help. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=161682
