Description Paul Campbell 2007-01-15 22:30:32 UTC
Version: 1.13 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16-suspend2-r1

Songs with a '!' in the name fail - the shell barfs on the special character when you run the encoder - just ommitting the '!' might be OK for directory names (assuming that's what's failing)

Also albums (and I guess artists) with titles that begin with a '.' (or in my case '...') appear hidden to Amarok because the directory is assumed to be 'hidden - I tried filing a bug on it with Amarok but they would hear none of it - perhaps you guys could drop an extra printing character in the beginning of such directory names

Same thing with '?' in the song title. This is very common. If the user were given the chance to change the file name, instead of just dropping the file, that would be really helpful.
