Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Please add SASL authentication to the Jabber plugin. It would be useful to have e.g. GSSAPI authentication.

The jabberd server supports this from version 2.1.

Kopete using libiris library for jabber support. Now libiris library which is included in Kopete supports SCRAM-SHA-1, DIGEST-MD5 and PLAIN mechanism.

If you need something other, please report bug to upstream libiris project at: https://github.com/psi-im/iris/issues

As some SASL mechanisms are implemented, closing as fixed.
