Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 (4.0)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.6 checked "override default server information" in my icq-account and inserted "login.oscar.aol.com" and 5190. then "ok". re-opened account-properties and the checkmark is gone (the url is still there and so is the port). i am not sure whether that means the new url is not used or just the checkmark is not remebered but, well, in either case it is a bug (of different importance, of course).
I can confirm this with KDE 4.0.85 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080703) openSUSE packages, every time I open the settings dialog, the "override default server information"-option is unchecked, i do not even have to restart kopete. I open the settings, check "override default server information", save the settings, open the settings and the option is unchecked again. same with restart.
It is saved if you change any of the default settings (server name or port). If you leave them at their default values however, Kopete recognizes that and sets the checkbox state accordingly.
