Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 (4.0)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.6 got repeatedly disconnected from icq, but kopete tried reconnecting automatically. finally a popup said something like "account blocked from server for 10 minutes because of reconnecting to fast". while i think it is one of the well known problems of icq.com that i am repeatedly disconnected, i think kopete should have an internal intervall (or even a configurable one) how fast it tries to reconnect and a max number of connects before giving up, thus preventing the user from getting blocked by icq.com because of too much and too fast reconnects.
Confirmed.
Confirmed. Is this a global bug or only limited to slower internet connections?
Its a global Bug. I have sometimes problems on PC's with mbit/gbit connection. Sometimes it run 2 hours, sometimes it reconnect so often and i'm banned for 10 min. Maybe a wrong answer to the icq Server or something similar.
