Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.5, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-davidb After lots of successful play, a high score that might have been, say fourth place, did not get entered into the high score list. The usual "you did it in ...." dialog appears, that's all.
Why is the status for this bug unconfirmed? I have had this problem several times. Scores that are clearly best times are not being recorded. My OS is Linux installed from Ubuntu packages. KDE version is 3.5.5.
I rarely play the game. My wife is obsessed with it. The bug began when I showed her the "undo" button. Get it? Once you have "cheated", the high score will not be entered. I reported this bug and I can fairly say close it :-)
It is still useful, a notification will be added at least for the next version so that users know why they cannot record the score in that case.

Hi. KShisen was partially rewriteen for KDE4.0, and it now uses the same highscore system used by all other kde games. This (and other) bugs in KShisen highscore handling are not present in this new implementation.
Ooops, looks like the change to KScoreDialog was not done for 4.0.0. I am reopening this bug to track it for the next release.
This one is not really related to the highscore dialog. There was a notification added when solving a game in Cheat Mode, so the user will now know why the score is not added to the highscore. :) Feel free to reopen if you think I shouldn't have closed it.
