Description Juergen Flosbach 2007-01-08 00:38:17 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.13-15.13-default

I'm wondering that no one else hase reported this before.

I have an image in portrait format
I use the free rotating tool with setting
- anti aliasing
- auto crop > bigges area

The rotation works
the auto crop doesn't.

If I do the same to landscape images
auto crop behaves correct. As expected.

Already a while ago I figured that I was wrong with my report.
SORRY
I had selected "auto-crop : largest area" but
should have used "auto-crop : widest area" instead.

With this setting the tool is working as expected.

Digikam is one of the best tools I have.

Thank you for it.
