Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I have a lot of mails in my inbox, and it's not always clear if I'm at the top of the list so I always scroll up a bit. 
Sometimes, like every 7th scroll-click or so it jumps one scroll down. try it out.

It does not happens also for me in kmail 1.10.1

Probably an issue with the scrollwheel on your mouse? Unable to reproduce. KMail 1.10.90, KDE 4.2 beta 1.
