Description Karsten Krispin 2007-01-07 01:55:26 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.18-k

If I turn on advanced information for each contact, the away message is not displayed in the correct charset. (german umlaute, the "sharp s" and so on aren't handled correct)

The contact list could easily use the charset given by the contact.

Greetings,
Karsten

I can't reproduce this in KDE 4.0.99. I can see greek letters and emoticons that my friends use in away messages, so I suppose german should work too.

Works for german locale here. Kopete version 0.50.80
