Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic I have hundreds of bookmarks, most of them not sorted in folders. Because i prefer the bookmark sidebar with the real time filtering. But all the bookmarks are also in the bookmarks menu. Unfortunately, it always unrolls by accident when i want to user other menu functions. Then the menu takes a long time, sometimes 2 seconds, to prepare and display. During this time, konq is not responding to anything. When the menu finally appears, it covers the whole screen, so it is also difficult to get rid of it, as i have to click somewhere outside to do so ... I suggest the bookmark menu not having more than one column and to sort of pre-render it. Best greets, drx

The fact that it is slow (2 sec.) is just because it's a lot of data to process. There's nothing we can do on that part.

Not so sure if the slowness isn't also caused by some other inefficiency in the code. Like, the way it is drawing this horrendous fullscreen "bookmark menu" covering every other thing underneath itself...
