Description Peter Magyar 2007-01-04 11:22:31 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45" , openSUSE 10.2)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.2-34-default

I'm using several IMAP-Accounts in KMail. Each of them is set to check for new mail every 5 minutes. When a new email arrives and it is selected to be read, it is only shown and selected until KMail checks for new email again. Don't matter if new emails have arrived or not, the email that was selected before is shown again. So if it takes 15 minutes to read an email, this mail as to be reselected 3 times to read it completely.

Can you check if this still happens with the current KDE version 4.3, please ?

Despite it having some exciting features, I stopped using KMail -- due to this and other bugs -- long time ago.

I'm also not upgrading my desktop from KDE-3.5.x to 4.x, because there is no upgrade path -- I have too many customizations (menus, submenus, backgrounds, fonts) to start from scratch.

Sorry.

Hey! This is the way to resolving ALL bugs, where the originators have given up and switched to other products.

Why, if you try long enough, you'll become completely BUG FREE...
