Description Stefan Dahlmann 2007-01-04 11:16:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

My english is not the very best, but I´ll try...
I successfully mounted two ntfs-partitions using ntfs-3g/fuse. These partitions are fully accessible via console. In Konqueror, they are accessible via direct acces to /mnt/xyz.
Using Konqueror´s media page (showing system:/media) these partitions are not accessible.
The behaviour is different for my two ntfs-partitions:

1. ntfs on internal ide-hdd
the partition does not show up at all, although it is mounted and accessible in the way mentioned above.

2. ntfs on external usb-hdd
system:/media shows an external device as unmounted while it is mounted and accessible the way mentioned above. On doublecklicking, it says "device could not be opened".

If you could fix this issue it would be a benefit for those users that still have to get data to and from their old windows days....

Thank you for your great work so far!
Regards,
Stefan from Germany
