Description Adam Porter 2007-01-03 07:38:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I have seen #85615, but this wish seems much simpler, both to use and to implement, so I am filing it as a separate bug.

I much prefer Akregator over Google Reader, but I do find myself wishing to be able to organize my feeds with tags, rather than only a fixed hierarchy of folders. I would like to be able to keep my feeds organized by subject, yet tag some as favorites to view all at once.

This would seem trivial to implement compared to virtual folders. Please consider it, and please include it pre-KDE4. :)

Many duplicates have been scrapped because of this almost four year old feature request.

Unfortunately it has not been implemented yet and akregator as a result is seriously lacking compared to other RSS readers such as RSSOwl (a corker, btw, and well worth having a look at).

So, is anybody onto this or how many more votes will it have to receive or is it simply a question of no time/no resources?

Cheers :)
