Description Lincoln Peters 2007-01-03 01:05:49 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.7lincoln

If an account is offline, and I try to add a buddy to that account, Kopete fails silently--no error message is given, and the buddy is not added to my list. Kopete should either stop me from doing this or offer a way to add buddies while an account is offline.

in version 0.50.80 (kde4) this is fixed. You get a errormessage saying that you need to be online to add a contact.
