Description Nick Pollitt 2007-01-02 19:49:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: GCC 4.1.1
OS: Linux

This is my first use of Korganizer. I haven't changed any of the settings. When I add items to the To-Do List, the background color alternates from black to white for each item. I can't read the items with the black background color. If I select one of the black items, it becomes highlighted in blue, and I can read the text, but I still can't see the checkbox. I've dug through the settings to see if there's some way to change this default highlighting, but couldn't find anything - which would be the simplest route. But it seems like a different color other than black would make a better default.

A screenshot of my to-do list.	There are 4 items, I've selected one, which
changes from black background to blue, but the 2nd item still has the black
background and cannot be read.

If you redefine the "Alternate list color" in the Control Panel then all should be OK.

It's not a KOrganizer bug, somehow something in the KDE libraries goes wrong. Anyway, we are already aware of it, but still thanks for the report.

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you specify where in the Control Panel I
can find the "Alternate list color" choice?

Control Panel -> Appearance & Themes -> Colors . From there you can select the Alternate List Color from the combobox and reset it to lightblue or whatever you like.
